The consultation with the director was good,, They drew the line several times and helped me find the line I wanted. But even though I said I didn’t want ptosis correction.. they kept saying I needed it..??? It was the first hospital I consulted with, so I didn’t know much and just said okay and left. The consultant, by my standards, was a bit too much. They kept saying they live in my neighborhood and that we’re neighbors, so they would take good care of me, which felt burdensome... The wait wasn’t long, and from consultant -> director -> consultant, the whole consultation took about 1 hour.
2. ㅇㄹ / Director ㄱㅅㅊ -Incision If buried suture, in the 600,000 KRW range; incision 980,000 KRW (based on writing an app review)
This is where I’m going for aftercare from another surgery.. So while I was there for care, I got a consultation. They said the line wouldn’t hold well and recommended incision. But since it’s my first eye surgery, incision feels a bit burdensome, so I skipped for now... Anyway, this director is someone I trust because I had another surgery with them and my satisfaction was high, but still, incision is a bit ㅠ_ㅠ They did say my eyes don’t need ptosis correction or canthoplasty..
3. ㅇㅇ Well / Director ㅈㅇㅎ -Natural adhesion + ptosis correction + medial epicanthoplasty I don’t know the price here either... The reason is below
First, I waited until the consultation: appointment time + 1 hour... Saw the consultant for 3 minutes, then waited another 15 minutes.. saw the director for 5 minutes, then waited 20 minutes to see the consultant again, and I got annoyed and just left....ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If the director’s consultation had been good, I would have waited for the consultant.. But during the director’s consultation, the line was really not good and I didn’t feel trust, so I left without even hearing the price...
4. ㅈㅅㅌ / Chief Director -Natural adhesion + ptosis correction + medial epicanthoplasty + fat removal Total price in the 2.5 million KRW range (I was so shocked after hearing the price that I don’t remember the last digits..)
The hospital was very clean and nice, and the wait wasn’t that long. During the director’s consultation, they measured everything with a ruler, like eye length.. distance, etc., so it felt somewhat trustworthyㅋㅋ But I asked whether I had a lot of fat in my eyes.. and if that meant I should do incision? They said I don’t have that much fat, and when they drew the line it held well, so natural adhesion would be enough. But then out of nowhere they suggested fat removal, so I was like, huh? Maybe it’s because I don’t know much.. Anyway, in my opinion, the estimate didn’t add up, so I’m thinking of skipping... The price also felt too burdensome. There was a 10,000 KRW consultation fee, only if it’s the chief director! They said the director only focuses on 3-4 surgeries a day, and I really liked that part.. but the price.. sigh..
5. ㅇㄹㅇ / Chief Director -Natural adhesion + medial-upper canthoplasty Total in the 1.5 million KRW range (based on writing an app review; -500,000 KRW if changing to another director)
There was no wait. As soon as I arrived, they took photos and the consultation started right away, which was so nice.. impatient Koreanㅋㅋ They said natural adhesion would be enough, and I liked the line this director drew the most. During the consultation, I said the difficult phrase that I wanted natural but glamorous eyesㅋㅋㅋ and they found exactly what I meant. They said I do have mild upper eyelid ptosis, but it’s minor, so I don’t need ptosis correction (I didn’t want ptosis correction), and because of my Mongolian fold, if I want glamorous eyes, they recommended medial-upper canthoplasty (this isn’t essential either, but they said it’s needed for the line I want). They said medial epicanthoplasty and upper canthoplasty aren’t separate, but medial-upper canthoplasty is one procedure..??
In terms of price, line, and all that, I liked number 5 the most,, but when I looked into it more before booking, I saw some bad stories, so I’m tornㅠㅠ Should I go to more consultations..ㅠㅠㅠ
