Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

3 Types of Facial Contouring + Nose (Hump Osteotomy, Nasal Tip)

3 types of facial contouring (45-degree cheekbones, jaw, chin tip) Nose (hump osteotomy on the nasal bridge and sides of the nose / nasal tip with septal cartilage) Deep cheek fat removal Liposuction of the chin and cheeks

Things to prepare before facial contouring and nose surgery - Gauze handkerchief, humidifier, children's toothbrush (molar toothbrush), painkillers n runny nose/phlegm medicine (case by case), bruise cream (Magderm), pumpkin juice (Jeummunga), large-size mask, teaspoon Nose - gauze, tape (3M skin-colored), sterile cotton swabs

I wrote down the products I personally liked and the things I needed It's case by case, so please use it only as a reference^^

First of all, it hurt so, so much, but after the hellish first week passed, I'm very satisfied^^ Now I'll write my one-week post-op review

I am a lupus (autoimmune disease) patient Because of the risk of bleeding and infection during surgery, many places won't readily operate, but Director ㅇㄷㅊ at ㄷㅇㅇ just said okay ;) So I trusted him even more and left it to him

- Deciding on facial contouring and choosing the hospital I was debating between Diㅇㅇ (Dr. ㅇㄷㅊ) and Noㅈㅎ, but I also wanted to do my nose at the same time, and ㄴㅈㅎ was 2.5 million won more expensive for facial contouring alone, so I definitely chose Diㅇㅇ (But from the beginning I liked ㄷㅇㅇ (Dr. ㅇㄷㅊ), so I was just going to do it there, but since it was bone surgery, I felt like consulting only one place was a bit much, so I consulted one more place)

- Day of surgery As soon as I opened my eyes after surgery, I started regretting it I kept thinking, this must be a dream... I closed and opened my eyes a few times... The moment I accepted reality, my face just hurt.. (some people say it doesn't hurt) I think it probably hurt because of things like deep cheek fat removal, liposuction, and the nose. Facial contouring itself might not hurt; it wasn't the jawbone or anything like that, but the inside of my face that hurt.. My nose was blocked with cotton, and my throat hurt because of general anesthesia, so from then on it was a battle with dryness I could drink water only after 6 hours post-op, so if I “asked them to wet gauze with water and kept it against my mouth,” it felt like finding an oasis in the desert I was in the recovery room and then moved to the inpatient room, but I was in pain, so from then on I started asking for painkillers and was out of it. Drains or whatever were not the issue.. Even after 6 when I could drink water, the sore throat, dryness, stuffiness, and pain were all hard... The day passed like that, sitting up

- Post-op day 1  They removed the drains, I got one more painkiller shot before discharge, and I went home The nurses were so kind.. Since I didn't have a guardian, they even picked up my medication for me As soon as I got home, I had no strength to sit, no strength to use my phone, and it felt like I had no strength in my spine. It was similar to my body feeling melted from a severe body ache (Time for thoughts like: Why did I do this when I'm not even going to become a celebrity, should I jump out the window, I swear I'll never do anything again) I barely got through the day with a humidifier, gauze handkerchiefs, and painkillers Endless cold compresses Plain porridge from Bonjuk (100% blended, divided into 3 containers)

- Post-op day 2 Day to remove the cotton, and the hospital also washed my hair for me It felt like I briefly tasted heaven, but from this point on it was a war with phlegm and runny nose When I got home, I had phlegm and runny nose medicine, so I started taking it from dawn So good, I felt a bit better Endless cold compresses, and since I gargled 12 times every 2 hours, the mouthwash decreased a lot, so I bought one more bottle from the hospital Apply eye ointment (prescribed) on the nose and inside the nose Maybe because I ate porridge too, from this day I started getting a little energy back

- Post-op day 3 I got medicine without aspirin ingredients prescribed through DoctorNow and started taking phlegm/runny nose medicine, so it became bearable. The dryness was also a bit less My throat still hurt, but it became tolerable... the runny nose kept coming though Because of the runny nose/phlegm medicine, I felt drugged that day and kept sleeping and waking up all day, over and over. I think I woke up every hour or two

- Post-op day 4 Happy that I could loosen the compression band from time to time.. Wear it for 1 hour, take it off for 30 minutes, and take it off when sleeping The runny nose also decreased by half, and the throat pain definitely decreased too (warm tea helps with phlegm) I felt like my energy was draining, and I was also taking antibiotics, so I stopped the runny nose/phlegm medicine I also started taking breaks from cold compresses, went on walks, ate porridge well, and felt like happiness was coming back I could brush my teeth too (without touching the gums) From this point, my lower teeth started feeling sensitive and tight

- Post-op day 5 Now I felt like a person again. The medication haze wore off and I didn't want to eat porridge anymore (proof that I was doing okay) I mixed rice into seaweed soup and ate it, and cut chuck flap tail into tiny pieces and ate it (but I couldn't taste it) Once I started eating rice, my throat got better The runny nose kept coming

- Post-op day 6 Seriously, I don't even think about plain porridge anymore... haha I started looking for a regular adult spoon instead of a teaspoon... I craved meat so much, and although it was still hard, I cut it into very small pieces and ate a little at a time very slowly The inside of my mouth was very swollen, so I had to do mouthwash and brushing well The area where the nasal splint was placed started to itch

- Post-op day 7 Hospital visit, stitch removal, seeing the doctor, swelling injection Wow..... removing the tape under the chin... legendary.. I thought my skin was tearing I already have a lot of hair there.. so we had to stop several times I like it. There is still swelling and bruising, but my face got smaller... ㅠㅠ I'm happy But one eyebrow doesn't go up haha so my eyes look uneven (they said this comes back after about three months) The tightness in my lower teeth and tooth sensitivity will also get better, they said (This also got a bit better once I loosened the compression band)

Today I ate udon and pork cutlet hahaha Cut into tiny pieces and not overdoing it, but still, it feels like eating only when I chew somethingㅠ (Some people say they lost weight, and I also lost 3 kg by day 2) But with the will to survive... haha recovered Today they removed the splint and took out the external stitches too, so I feel like I can live Starting today, I'm applying bruise cream and using warm compresses

- Walking is best for swelling ;) I slept almost sitting up - Absolutely do not use a straw (they said the suction creates pressure inside the mouth, which is not good) - Because of the chin liposuction, I developed a little bit of scar tissue/firmness, so I'm planning to do radiofrequency starting one week later - One week later, the stitches inside the mouth and inside the nose will be removed

“Please share any good information about swelling care or lifting after facial contouring^^“

The bruising is only beside my lips. I bruise easily, but fortunately it's only beside my mouth, so I'm uploading photos for reference on the jawline and uneven eyes
