Before going around for consultations, ㅍ was my top choice, but after visiting, I changed my mind right away (Desired procedure: non-incisional eye revision surgery)
- ㅍ: I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, but no one even told me to wait, and I just kept waiting indefinitely. I even saw someone who arrived later than me go in first, so I got annoyed and asked the front desk if I had to wait much longer. They said I would be called soon, so I should wait.
I almost just went home, but eventually I met the consultation manager. She was kind, but she kept talking about canthoplasty. Other clinics didn’t mention canthoplasty at all.. I was told that because the distance between my eyes is narrow, I absolutely shouldn’t do anything even similar to epicanthoplasty (everyone said this).
Most of all, even though I had made an appointment with a specific director, they asked which director I wanted, then said that director wasn’t eligible for a discount, and told me to wait several dozen more minutes, so in the end I had a consultation with a different director.. (But the director was really kind and warm, and seemed to care a lot about patientsㅜㅜ The director alone was the best..)
There was pressure that was not exactly pressure to pay a deposit.
- ㅇㅇㅇ: I went without much expectation, but the consultation was much better than I thought! The event discount applied as advertised, and there was no pressure at all.. The director listened to all my requests and was so kindㅜㅜ Most of all, the consultation manager was seriously so kind.. I didn’t know someone could be that kind! But they said everything was fine and possible, so I think I’ll look around at a few more places, and if the estimates elsewhere are similar, I’ll probably do it here! There was no pressure at all to pay a deposit, and they just told me to think it over comfortably and contact them if I decide to proceed.
ㅠㅠ I naturally thought I’d be able to choose one of the two, but I guess you really don’t know until you go around for consultations… You really have to visit the clinics.
