ㅅㅇㅇ - The consultation took almost an hour.. (Maybe because it was a time slot with no people, and basically both the director and the consultant tend to talk a lot ㅠㅠ) - I consulted with the doctor first, and it felt like I had become a student listening to a lecture. He was very confident about ptosis correction and recommended it, saying I needed it too. Because of that, he only held the double-eyelid line once, and I just kept hearing a long lecture about why ptosis correction was necessary.. He gave so many case examples that I was almost tempted. (But at the other 6 hospitals, nobody recommended ptosis correction; they said my eye-opening strength was sufficient.) - Recommended an upper epicanthoplasty - It felt like they provide very good aftercare. The consultant complimented me a lot, so it felt kind of familiar and friendly - Surgery time is about an hour and a half - While recommending ptosis correction, they also talked about side effects, and they notified me in advance that temporary scarring can occur after epicanthoplasty too
ㅁㅅㄹㅇ - The director had a lot of charisma. Recommended full-incision double-eyelid surgery + upper epicanthoplasty - For the first time, he explained in a completely convincing way why I absolutely needed an upper epicanthoplasty for my eyes - He told me to avoid places that recommend ptosis correction - Recommended a very thin line; once all the swelling goes down, I thought it would almost become an inner double eyelid - There were many reviews saying the director and consultant were blunt and scary, so I was nervous,, but even though I was 20 minutes late for the consultation, they said it was fine (I did contact them in advance), and when I asked them to hold the line several times, they said they would do it as many times as I wanted and were kind (Maybe because I was in total country-mouse mode and kept myself very meek) - But the price is incredible.. almost enough to get double-eyelid surgery about 3 times elsewhere.. ㅠㅠ - There is no separate discount, so I couldn’t even see before-and-after photos ㅠㅠ
For 1, as I listened to the explanation, I just thought this place wasn’t it. But they spent much longer on the consultation than I expected, so I actually missed another consultation;;ㅋㅋㅋ For 2, I really gained strong trust that even if I entrusted everything to the director, it wouldn’t turn out badly, but the price was too expensive, and since this is my first surgery, I feel a lot of burden about incision ㅠㅠ
Actually, these were the last two places I visited for consultations after already putting down a reservation deposit somewhere else. At 2, they explained the structure and weaknesses of my eyes perfectly and also told me the solution (surgical direction), which almost matched the place where I had put down the deposit, so I felt reassured and finally decided to proceed at the place where I had paid the deposit. If you have a lot of money and don’t feel burdened by incision, I highly recommend 2!!!
