Review on Day 4 After One-Type Facial Contouring

First of all, I only did one type of facial contouring, just the chin tip, and to prevent a secondary angle, I had the chin tip plus the side line slightly refined.

Day of surgery

It was my first time under general anesthesia, so I was nervous... Honestly, I worried about everything, like, would I fall asleep with that, what if I didn't fall asleep, but nope. I worried for nothing^^ I think I just fell asleep in 3 seconds. I woke up to the sound of the nurse waking me. I was relieved because when I woke up, the surgery was already overㅋㅋㅋㅋ As soon as I woke up, my chin throbbed a lot and hurt, but it was still pain I could tolerate. But since that pain lasted all day, it was a bit hard. And more than the pain, I was really worried because I heard general anesthesia makes you nauseous. I really hate feeling nauseous normallyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ But fortunately, I didn't feel nauseous. Instead, for almost three days I couldn't drink even a drop of water, and my throat was so dry I almost died, like someone who had crossed a desertㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Every time I swallowed saliva my throat hurt, it tasted like blood, and because it was dry, it didn't go down well... Still, it was just about the level of pain from a throat cold, so it was okay. A tough woman can endure this much pain!! And a few hours later they brought me water, and a Daiso sauce bottle is essential~~ They gave it in a disposable plastic cup, but if I drank from it directly, it looked like it would all spill, so I moved it into the sauce bottle I brought and drank little by little. Not a single drop spilled and it was super convenient. The person who first thought of this is a total genius. At first there wasn't swelling, but by evening I could feel it gradually swelling. As for sensation, below my lower lip still feels numb like it's anesthetized, so I hope it comes back soon~~ Some people said it hurts and some said it doesn't, so I worried a lot, but for me it was just tolerable pain. If I had to go back and do it twice, it would be sad, but I think I'd still do it again?? For now, maybe because of the swelling, I feel like the length may not have reduced as much as I thought, but I think I'll have to watch this.

+I take back saying it doesn't hurt. At night I couldn't sleep and it hurt.

Post-op Day 1

Drain removed and discharged~ They said it hurts when the drain is removed, but I literally didn't feel anythingㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Maybe because I got a painkiller in the morning, it hurt much less than the previous day, and I took public transportation home with no issue. After I got home, I just got through meals with soy milk that dayㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ My face was totally swollenㅇㅇ Still, it was just pain like getting a wisdom tooth removed at the dentist, so I really didn't feel bothered at all. If anything, when sleeping, raising the pillow was more uncomfortable than the pain, to the point I couldn't sleepㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was so okay after just one day that I couldn't believe I had such a big surgery yesterday.

Post-op Day 2

They say this is when swelling is the worst, and my face is completely puffy. Since I'd only been drinking soy milk, just looking at soy milk made me feel like throwing up, so I ordered Bonjuk. I got it 100% blended and ate it, and I didn't really feel any difficulty eating. As expected, other than a tight feeling from the swelling, there was almost no pain... I didn't take any of the extra painkillers the hospital gave me. Even walking around outside with a hat and mask on, my condition was fine.

Post-op Day 3

I was originally supposed to take off the compression band the next day, but I got the date wrong, so from this day I took it off and went hard on walkingㄷㄷㄷ I panicked, but what can I doㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Once I started walking, I suddenly got so hungry and my appetite exploded. I felt like I shouldn't eat it, but I was sick of only eating porridge, so I broke up a banana and sweet potato with a teaspoon and ate them omnyomnyom. I also soaked castella in milk and ate itㅋㅋㅋ I was a bit worried food might get stuck, but whatever, I just ate. My mouth still only opened about one finger width and I couldn't chew well.

Post-op Day 4 Originally, today was when I was supposed to take off the compression band and go walkingㅋㅋㅋ but I started yesterdayㅠ For now, I did warm compresses diligently and also walked. The swelling definitely went down a lot yesterday and today, so now it's just about like someone who had a major wisdom tooth extraction??ㅋㅋㅋ Both cheeks and under my chin are still swollen thickly. Since I started eating yesterday, I just went off and ate all kinds of things. I tried to make porridge and failed, so it just became rice in water, but I ate it anywayㅋㅋㅋ As long as it isn't hard, regular food seems possible?? Since yesterday, the pain has truly been 0.

I was worried because it was a big surgery, but I'm a bit surprised that my condition is so much better than expected....ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It may be because I only did one type and not three, but hmm. I just hope all the swelling goes down soon.
