Abdominal Liposuction Day 5 Review (a bit long)

Before <front view before abdominal procedure> Before <side view before procedure> After <front view on day 2 after liposuction> After <side view on day 2> I got abdominal liposuction last Friday at a clinic in Apgujeong Honestly, I used to think liposuction was so scary and was determined never to get it, but then suddenly at some point I felt like I absolutely had to get it So unlike other people, I didn’t spend a lot of time researching online and going around to consultations; I just went to a place that felt right and had it done Honestly, I’m a coward, so the fact that they said an anesthesiology specialist was on-site was a big part of why I decided too.. hehe..

Beforehand, I had blood tests, weight check, and various things done, had a consultation with the consultant, then with the director, properly decided which areas to do, and then went straight into surgery I kept whining that I was scared, but they kept comforting me next to me saying it would be okay and told me about cases where surgery ended well, so I think I was able to go in feeling a bit more reassured

After the surgery, I don’t remember anything, and I woke up after sleeping deeply for about 5 hours lol On the day of surgery, the person picking me up was only available late at night, so I got home around 2 or 3 a.m. (I felt reassured because they said the recovery room stayed open until very late, so I kept resting there) Even when I first opened my eyes, the abdominal pain was tremendous, but by Sunday morning I was like, huh, this is okay? lol

First day after surgery (Saturday) Honestly, I was in pain all day. I couldn’t even get out of bed, and since I live alone, there was no one to help me up like in the recovery roomㅠ I held in going to the bathroom for 2 hours, and when I really couldn’t hold it anymore, somehow I got up with superhuman strength and went. I had to take medicine, so I barely managed to cook, eat, and take my medicine All I remember is lying down and sleeping all day No exaggeration, every time I walked, it felt like I was getting kicked in the stomach with every step

Second day (Sunday) Maybe because Saturday felt like I was going to die, Sunday wasn’t as painful as I expected, yep. Rather than saying it didn’t hurt, I guess it changed to being bearable Still, when I walked, it still felt like my skin wasn’t mine and it hurtㅠ But I got the hang of going back and forth to the bathroom, ate properly, and it was okay It felt like I only had to suffer for exactly one day?

Third day (Mon, Tue, Wed) On Monday I had to go to work, so I had no choice, and since it was hot too, I took off the compression garment for the first time in two days and went to the office, and that was more doable than I expected too Over the weekend, I wondered if I should take Monday off, but it was fairly livable, and it was fascinating how the bruising got lighter day by day, the swelling went down day by day, and the pain gradually disappeared. When I wake up, I think, how much less will it hurt tomorrow? lol

I keep looking in the mirror, and what’s so fascinating is that before, if I looked at my stomach in the morning after skipping dinner it would be sunken in, but after eating lunch it would stick out so much that I couldn’t even imagine wearing a short-length T-shirt. But now I can wear a crop top that shows my stomach and even after eating, my stomach doesn’t stick out, and it feels like a whole new world Really, all you have to do is close your eyes just once when paying and during surgery, and it’s over. Since my body has changed this much, I’m happy

Since Monday, I’ve been going to the gym, slowly walking 3 km every day, and controlling my diet I want to take even better care of myself and write a review a few months in
