Came back after nose surgery

I never thought my nose was unattractive, but I wanted it to be a little higher and a little slimmer, so despite people around me trying to stop me, I had a no-implant nose surgery yesterday! For the bridge, they used autologous costal cartilage, and for the tip, they used septal cartilage.

It was my first surgery, so everyone told me to go with silicone, but I actually know a friend who got silicone, developed contracture, and had it removed, and I also felt resistant toward artificial implants, so I went with a no-implant nose surgery.

I went around to several hospitals in the Gangnam area for consultations. At the first hospital, they said they would use septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the bridge and tip, but that they could only insert up to 2.5 mmㅠㅠ When I asked about costal cartilage, they said they do not recommend it unless you are going for a very dramatic result. Later I learned that septal cartilage and ear cartilage are hardly ever used as bridge materials. That was why I passed on the first hospitalㅠㅠㅠ The second place I went to was the hospital where I had the surgery! On the day I went for the consultation, there were so many people at the hospital that my appointment was delayed a lot, so I was a little annoyed at first. But the consultation director and the surgeon listened carefully to what I wanted and picked up on it well, so the consultation went smoothly.

Even after I got home, I felt like something was still missing and wanted to ask more questions, so I went back for a second consultation. I probably made things a bit of a hassle, but the director and the surgeon were both so kind that they were the best. Love you both

I want to take off the splint soon and see how I look after the changes.

Since they removed autologous costal cartilage, the pain is severe and I am wearing a waist support band, but the pain should be gone in a few days.

The area where they removed the costal cartilage hurts so much that I can't feel the nose pain at all. The hardest part is the cotton inside my noseㅠㅠㅠ My mouth is dry, I can't sleep, and I literally wake up every 15 minutes to drink water... I got antibiotics today and I'm leaving this post to mark the occasion that they removed the cotton from my noseㅋㅋㅋ Oh, and make sure to stock up on a humidifier before nose surgery.

Even with a humidifier, it is still hard, but it really helps with the drynessㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I'll come back again after the splint is taken offㅋㅋㅋㅋ
