I used to have monolids, but as I got older, a double eyelid formed on only one side. Since my monolid eyes were fairly large and monolids are common these days, I was planning to live as a monolid person, but the double eyelid that had formed on one side started getting deeper and deeper.... One side was a perfect monolid, and the other had a double eyelid, so the difference became severe and I started considering double eyelid surgery. People I know were split half and half between “get double eyelid surgery” VS “uneven eyes are charming too” ㅠㅠ
After worrying and worrying, I eventually went around to 3 to 4 places in Busan (Seomyeon), and now that it has been 2 years since my double eyelid surgery, I am very, very satisfied..!! They originally recommended an incisional method, but I was too scared, so I ultimately decided on the non-incisional buried-suture method, and I feel like that was also a really good decision..!! I also chose a clinic that would make it look as natural as possible, and I am satisfied with that too.
