As you can probably tell from my previous posts, I got fixated on the bulging under-eye area when seen in bright light, so I went around to 3 places in total for consultations.
But I guess I’m just too old. Maybe plastic surgery should be done when you’re young. I only wanted under-eye fat repositioning and didn’t want fat grafting either.
First consultation A clinic in Apgujeong that has been famous for a long time No consultation fee, and after just taking a look, they recommended a mid-lower blepharoplasty. The director was honest, the consultant was kind, and they recommended fat grafting. But they were already fully booked during the holiday period. Honestly, for my face, this place seemed right, but since I’m also working at a company, something felt a bit off...
Second consultation Consultation fee: 10,000 won Newly opened The director was super kind The cost was a bit high First of all, appointments were available during the holiday period, and this place does under-eye fat repositioning and fat grafting. I chose this place because they had an anesthesiology specialist, but they said the anesthesiology specialist doesn’t come in for sedation anesthesia. Ha... I chose my list based on whether an anesthesiology specialist was on-site, but I guess that wasn’t necessary.
Third consultation No consultation fee The director was kind, the consultant was so-so Here, they can do under-eye fat repositioning without fat grafting, and they can also do lower blepharoplasty. They said I’m kind of in between. It’s a bit early for lower blepharoplasty, but doing only the under-eye area would be somewhat less effective.
I thought that if I went around to clinics, I’d be able to narrow things down, but somehow the range of choices has gotten wider and more complicated. Now choosing is so hard, seriously.
