The parts that mattered most to me while looking into facial contouring surgery! 1. The doctor’s experience 2. And the hospital’s safety system (including anesthesiologist, necessary medications, aftercare, etc.!)
Of course, surgery that simply makes the face into a V-line is also facial contouring, but I was looking into contouring because I wanted to softly improve my asymmetry and angular areas. While going around for consultations, I learned a lot that improving asymmetry is pretty much the hardest part of contouring~ Especially the angle behind the ear and the asymmetry, and especially how the left jaw area looked blunt, seemed like the biggest issue to me. So when I consulted with the doctor, I think I spoke honestly as it was and checked the most how much room there would be for improvement if I had surgery haha
I looked into the doctor who performed my surgery too, and it seemed like he was known as someone who honestly tells people not to do surgeries that they don’t necessarily need. For me, fortunately? Is it fortunate lololol he said I would see a big surgical effect lol so lol I got the 3 facial contouring procedures done~
The swelling is seriously... disappearing really quickly. Even though it’s only been 1 month... people say it looks almost like 3 months have passed lol My friends around me who also had facial contouring were surprised by how fast I’m recovering.
My sensation, especially around the jaw, hasn’t completely returned yet, but when I asked the hospital, they said it gradually comes back over about 3 months, or as long as 6 months, and since it’s only been 1 month so far lol waiting... seems to be the right answer~
For post-op care, I think I received radiofrequency, SmartLux swelling care, shampoo, and other things... even though they provide a lot of aftercare, finding time to go lol is honestly hard lol;
Still, I went diligently for about 1 month after surgery, so I think that’s why I recovered quickly to my current condition~ I want it to be 3 months already so I can see my 3-month progress too... I hope I recover without any problems!!
