Day 7 Review After 3 Types of Facial Contouring at ㄴㅌ

Today is day 7 after getting through 6 hellish days following 3 types of facial contouring. I had my sideburn-area stitches removed and got skin care at the clinic, and I saw my bone photos.

I was in so much pain that I couldn’t think straight, but today I feel a bit more alive, so I’ll calmly share the story for everyone who might be curious~

[Shopping Around for Facial Contouring Surgery] ✔️Before facial contouring surgery, I had a serious complex about my face shape. My cheekbones were big, my jaw was big, and I really hated taking off my mask. Honestly, anyone would say I’m on the slim side, but when I took off my mask, my jaw was oddly wide.

When I went around for surgery consultations, some directors laughed. Some even said that my frame was small but my face was unexpectedly big. I already knew that, so I didn’t feel offended at all, so don’t worry. After surgery, I thought that surely it would be much better than now, and started looking into clinics with that mindset.

✔️First, in a community, I narrowed clinics down to those with reviews of 3.5 or higher, considering cost/reviews (including the number of reviews)/before-and-after photos on the clinic website/whether there was only one director/surgical methods, etc., and about 10 places came up.

✔️Among them, I narrowed it down to places everyone here would probably know: ㅂㄹㅇ, ㅍㅇㅅㄹㅇ, ㅂㄷ, ㅁㅇㄷㅇ, ㅇㅍㅅㅌ, ㄴㅌ, and went around for consultations.

✔️What I considered My personality is meticulous and I worry a lot, so I looked at the overall atmosphere of the clinic and whether they could reassure me after surgery (e.g. contact from the consultant manager/kindness of the people giving guidance at the desk/whether the doctor consulted while reflecting my opinions/whether I made an appointment but the wait didn’t become indefinitely long; if it did, it would be obvious that aftercare would also involve indefinite waiting/the consultant manager going back and forth without clear standards when discussing costs, I don’t like that/aftercare, etc.)

✔️To be honest, the other clinics also had both good and bad points, but considering the things I valued above and the director’s style, my final decision was ㄴㅌ.

✔️Of course, the director is an important factor to consider, and I think the small details above are important too. It was like that when I went into surgery as well, and when I stayed hospitalized for a day, the nurses were kind and reassured me, which was nice. The people guiding patients at the desk were also all quite kind!!

[Postoperative Recovery Process] ✔️Every single day is truly painful. Of course there may be individual differences, but I had seen people say it was only uncomfortable, so I had some expectations, but it wasn’t like that at all. I woke up often at dawn because of the pain, became sensitive, and it was no joke.

✔️People say swelling peaks on day 3, but I think I was swollen even after that. Now on day 7, after coming back from the clinic, it feels like a lot of the swelling has gone down. But I know I’ll swell again tomorrow morning.

✔️I got 3 types of facial contouring and accessory breast liposuction together, but the facial contouring hurts so much and there’s so much to pay attention to that I don’t even care about the accessory breast area. The only upside is that since I can’t eat, I’m naturally dieting. I was 46 kg before surgery, and now I’m 43 kg.

✔️Even while I was in pain, I never once regretted having the surgery. That’s because I had thought about it so, so much for a long time, and I think I’ll like the result.

I’ll attach the bone photos. My facial swelling is gradually improving, but my lips still feel like they’re about to burst from being swollen. And if I get the chance, I’ll try uploading face photos with mosaic processing too. I might not upload them because it’s embarrassing, but if you have questions, ask me. I’ll answer as much as I know.
