My under-eyes take after my father, so I have a lot of fat there, and I have inner double eyelids, but sometimes the line goes higher and lower. I wanted to get under-eye fat repositioning and naturally create a double eyelid with a low in-out line using natural adhesion, so I got recommendations from acquaintances and followed reviews around, then narrowed it down to 4 places for consultations. None of the four places charged a consultation fee, and the consultation order was consultant > director > consultant. Even without asking, the consultant briefed me on the discounted price too lol
1. ㅇㄹ (Seolleung Station) An acquaintance recommended it, and I had a consultation specifically with Director ㄱㅅㅊ. I heard they were famous for under-eye fat repositioning and also did double eyelids naturally, so I went there thinking of it as my top choice. The wait was not long. Thinking about it now, the consultation was not very detailed, but I just trusted them. They said natural adhesion was possible and recommended ptosis correction. Anesthesia was sedation anesthesia. I received a quote for under-eye fat repositioning + double eyelid + ptosis correction with a review discount.
2. ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ I got this place recommended through a friend of a friend and had a consultation specifically with Director ㄱㄷㅇ. We consulted while looking at the photos they took, and they explained my eyes objectively and well. The double eyelid line they made for me felt a bit awkward. They said under-eye fat repositioning seemed like the surgery I needed more than double eyelids, and I agreed too. Since I wasn't good at asking questions, the consultant said it seemed like it was my first time going to consultations and briefed me on things people often ask about. The consultant was really kind. I received a quote for non-incisional ptosis correction + under-eye fat repositioning. Anesthesia was sedation anesthesia. The only discount was a same-day booking discount, and the deposit was 50,000 won. It was refundable until one week before the surgery date, so I paid the deposit.
3. ㅌㅍㅇㅅ This place is apparently famous for doing a more glamorous style, but it appeared a lot in consultation reviews, so I added it just to get a consultation. It was also convenient to visit because it was right next to ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ. I did not designate a director and asked for a director who would do it naturally. The director I consulted with was Director ㅊㅈㅎ. They made two lines for me, and the lower one looked natural and I liked it. At the two places above, the lines they made felt unnatural, so I had been wondering whether I should only do under-eye fat repositioning. The director said that if I did an upper epicanthoplasty, it would likely have these and those effects, and told me to think about it. I liked that they explained the surgical method for under-eye fat repositioning in detail. At the end, the director said they fix the dura mater? or something? and confidently said recurrence almost never happens, so I trusted them too. Anesthesia is sedation anesthesia, but they said they briefly wake you up only when setting the double eyelid line and ask you to open your eyes. For now, I received a quote for non-incisional ptosis correction + upper epicanthoplasty + under-eye fat repositioning. It was a discounted price for publicly sharing before-and-after eye photos.
4. ㅈㅇㅈㅇ Here too, I asked for a director who would do it naturally and did not designate anyone. It was a female director, but I do not know her name. The consultant recommended upper epicanthoplasty and explained it actively. Only here did the director say I needed an incision. Since it was my first surgery, I said I wanted natural adhesion, but they said no, and that my eyes were not suitable lololol This place was the most expensive. They said the only discount was a same-day booking discount, and if I was not going to book today, there was no need to write it down, so they did not tell me. Quote: incisional ptosis correction + upper epicanthoplasty + under-eye fat repositioning. This was also the only place where anesthesia was sedation (3 minutes?) + local anesthesia.
Under-eye fat repositioning is painful, and I saw a review of double eyelid surgery + under-eye fat repositioning saying they woke up from sedation anesthesia during the under-eye fat repositioning and had a hard time. So I asked all of them whether I would wake up from sedation anesthesia during under-eye fat repositioning. I excluded hospital 4 because they said surgery would be done while I was conscious. Since all the double eyelid lines they made looked unnatural, I thought about only doing under-eye fat repositioning at hospital 1, but at hospital 3, I started leaning toward doing both. So I am debating between hospital 2, which came strongly recommended, and hospital 3, where I liked the consultation.
After coming to my senses, I noticed that the double eyelid quotes from hospitals 2 and 3 included ptosis correction, so I told them I wanted to remove ptosis correction. Hospital 3 said that if I don't do ptosis correction, the line could come undone and the eye shape I want might not come out, and if I am willing to accept all of that, I can consult with the director on the day and remove it. They scared me... Anyway, I am thinking of not doing ptosis correction or upper epicanthoplasty. I liked the consultant consultation at 2, and the director consultation at 3, so I am torn. Please give me advice or recommendationsㅜㅜ
