I’m going to write a consultation review from when I was looking into eye surgery and went for a consultation at a clinic before. Getting upgraded in this community is pretty hard. I had consultations at about three places, and this one left the strongest impression. In the end, I had my eye surgery there.
I had monolids and rather plain eyes, so I definitely wanted canthoplasty together with double eyelid surgery. So I searched a lot for reviews of places that do pretty double eyelid surgery and canthoplasty, and the reviews for the director here were quite pretty. It was fascinating because I thought, wow, eyes can become this defined.
They told me that if I got too greedy with canthoplasty, I might regret it later, so they planned the canthoplasty as much as possible within my eye conditions. I wanted a slight epicanthoplasty plus lateral and lower canthoplasty, and fortunately, now my eyes have become bigger and clearer without any major scars. I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery with canthoplasty, and I think after a week I had the stitches removed and received swelling laser treatment.
The director’s style was kind, and they explained things clearly so I could understand. Double eyelid surgery can look really tacky and old-fashioned if it’s done wrong, but the director here somehow has a refined sense. What I regret now is that I should’ve done my nose together when I did my eyes back then...... Now I’m getting tempted to do my nose and looking into it again, and seeing myself like this is giving me a reality check lol
