I had a consultation for eye surgery at a plastic surgery clinic near Sinsa Station, and I’d like to talk about the plastic surgery clinics I personally recommend, the places I absolutely do not want to recommend, and how to choose a good plastic surgery clinic.
One place said they only do consultations on Thursdays, so I adjusted my schedule and went, but even though it was revision surgery, they spoke as if they were too busy and I should just leave, giving me an extremely high price range. When I asked questions, they answered perfunctorily, and the consultant also just stated the cost as if to say, “That’s the price, so just leave,” and then left. First, when I said I would only do ptosis correction, they said I absolutely had to do the under-eye area as well, and when I asked again by chat for the individual costs, they read it and ignored me. It’s not like I abused my position, nor did I behave or speak unpleasantly, and I didn’t ask an excessive number of questions. I went because I was curious about what surgery I needed, and even for revision surgery, I had looked at prices other people posted and asked around before going, so I feel a bit upset.
