The link above was my review 1 month after surgery
About 7-8 months after that surgery, I had an additional surgery as a follow-up adjustment.
It wasn't because there was a functional problem or any side effect.
I had already been informed that in cases of cleft lip and palate, it is common to have an additional revision surgery after surgery to refine the shape further, and they suggested refining it a bit more.
For reference, the cost was only the actual anesthesia fee, roughly 300,000-400,000 won? I think it was about that much.
Whenever I look at them, I really am bad at taking photos, so to explain in words, the columella was too long, making my nose look long, so they reduced it a little in a natural way.
It doesn't show in the photos, but there was a slight difference in the size and shape of the nostrils, so they corrected that a bit too. In my view, it became much better than after the first surgery.
I also had septal surgery together, and so far it hasn't become blocked again, and I can breathe well through my nose. Instead, the inside of my nose still feels a little not fully settled(?) but it's not particularly uncomfortable, so I don't think it matters much.
At this point, I think it's fine without major side effects, and compared with my crooked nose before surgery, I think it has become really human-looking(?), so I'm going to live without touching it any further.
Even if it's not a gorgeous nose like a celebrity's, having a nose that looks normal is already something ㅠㅠ
For those with cleft lip and palate, I know you probably go through a lot of difficult things, but if you get surgery, I hope everyone has good results. Fighting~
