Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

Already 10 Years

Ever since I was young, adults used to say my protruding jaw looked like my grandmother’s, and from my teens I started to feel that the right side of my face was crooked. Rather than the protruding jaw, my facial asymmetry was severe, and I also had malocclusion. (I thought it was normal for the upper and lower edges of the front teeth to meet, because I had lived like that the whole time. I was surprised when I learned that an even bite is when the upper teeth cover the lower teeth.) When I went to college, I learned that there was something called two-jaw surgery, and my uncle encouraged me by saying he had a capable friend he knew. I think it cost about 20 million won including orthodontic treatment, but I was so desperate that, thinking about it now, I really feel like I couldn’t see anything else. I just begged my mom and dad to let me do it without thinking about anything else.

As a result, I still have asymmetry. It’s not like my jaw sticks out by several centimeters or anything extremely severe, but compared with an average person, it’s at the level where you can immediately see asymmetry with the naked eye. But rather than the surgery being done wrong, I think my skull is basically asymmetrical too, my posture is bad, and I was probably just bound to be asymmetrical.. After surgery, I feel like I became the type whose face gains fat easily, and my jawline sagged, so no matter how much weight I lose, only the degree changes and I still get a double chin. I’m not sure whether this is because I didn’t manage myself well after surgery. Please recommend any procedures worth getting..
