Before<Before surgery>Before<1 month>Before<2~3 months>Before<2~3 months>Before<6 months>Before<6 months>First of all, it’s a little embarrassing, but I’ll show you what I looked like before surgery first lol There is a bit of Photoshop too, so please keep that in mind when looking lol Not in photos, but in real life, the contour from my jaw to my cheekbones was definitely more severe than in the pictures Especially the area where the lateral cheekbone and anterior cheekbone connect protruded so much and looked wide, so it looked even worse from the side Because of that, I tried changing my hairstyle and makeup a lot, and every time I did my makeup I shaded like crazy. But I guess it’s true that surgery is the answer for bone structure. No matter what I did, I couldn’t cover it, and when I saw someone I know who had it done, it looked so natural and pretty,, Still, since it’s surgery that involves the bone, I thought it was right to choose carefully, so I talked to my friends a lot about how worried I was. Then while reading reviews, I got really drawn in, so with the mindset of at least getting consultations, I immediately went around to a ton of consultations. I looked at aftercare and photos without Photoshop, found a hospital I liked, and got cheekbone surgery lol If you only look at the photos from one month after surgery, it seems like there’s no swelling, but in real life my cheeks felt a bit chubby, so I was pretty bothered by it in my own way lol But the director was surprised and said my recovery was quite fast. Still, the recovery period was hard for me, so I kept thinking I wished the swelling would go down even faster lololol At 2~3 months after surgery, the minor swelling started to go down and my overall face shape started settling. Before surgery, from the side, my anterior cheekbone stuck out, but after surgery, as the minor swelling went down and things became more refined, it looked natural. I was worried that as the swelling went down, my cheekbones might look too sunken compared with my jaw, or that the area between my jaw and cheekbones might look hollow, but it was more natural than I expected, so from then on I took a lot of photos lol Even then, there was still some swelling, but to other people it was to the point where they wouldn’t know I had surgery? Swelling only I could notice! But from then on it was kind of hell. The major swelling visibly went down, so I thought, oh, it’s going down well, but with the minor swelling, it felt like it had gone down and also like it hadn’t, and I think I lived glued to the mirror every day lololololol Still, I felt like it turned out naturally well, so I lived feeling satisfied. The 6-month photos were taken recently, and these days I feel like most of the swelling has gone down and I’ve fully recovered. Since I only had cheekbone surgery, I was worried it might not match my lower face and look unnatural, but it turned out exactly in the facial line I wanted, to the point where I wonder why I worried, so I’ve been very satisfied lately. Now that my wide cheekbones have improved, I feel like my face also looks smaller, and my friends tell me it turned out really well, so I feel good. The director also said I recover quickly, and I also received all the care provided by the hospital frequently, so I think that helped my recovery more. Maybe my body is also somewhat suited to plastic surgery? I also paid a lot of attention to swelling care, so I think my recovery was on the faster side. I heard that with facial contouring surgery, swelling can continue to go down for up to 1 year and the recovery period differs from person to person. Not everyone will be the same as me, so I hope you use this just as a reference. I had my surgery with Director Kwon Byung-yoon, and during the consultation too, he examined everything very thoroughly. The director had the aura of someone experienced, and I really liked that feeling. From consultation to post-surgery care, I could feel that they took great care of me and paid attention, so I feel like I chose the hospital well. Everyone, when choosing a hospital, I hope you go to consultations at several places and get it done somewhere that provides good aftercare, has an anesthesiologist on site, and takes good care of you. I hope my review is at least a little helpful to everyone who is thinking about facial contouring or who had facial contouring and is anxious because recovery feels slow.
