First of all, right after surgery, the anesthesia had not fully worn off, and the hospital where I had it done is known for having very little pain, so I really was not in much pain. But since I had it done through the armpit incision, running the washing machine or tidying up the house was so hard.. I don’t think you necessarily need to sleep sitting up (from my experience), but I did think it would be nice to have a triangular back-support pillow haha Like 1
