I'm posting in detail hoping my review will help~
I had Mentor Extra + inframammary fold incision
Surgery day) I didn't sleep much and was nervous, but once I went into the operating room, I fell asleep right away, and when I woke up, the surgery was over.. My chest only felt tight, and there was no pain. I was discharged with the pain-control injection still inserted. Since I live far away, I agreed to remove the needle myself two days later and return it when I visit the clinic after a week. (Because it's a pharmaceutical product, it has to be disposed of separately)
Days 1~2) On day 1, I only wore the upper band, and on day 2, while removing the pain-control injection, I put on a sports bra and rested leaning against the bed without moving much. Because of swelling, my weight went up about 2~3 kg, and even after removing the pain-control injection, there was no pain
Day 3) I gently walked outside for about an hour and did some light housework. But in the evening, I saw a lot of bruise-like blood marks around the inframammary incision scar that weren't there yesterday..? I was worried it was because I did housework, but they said it can normally happen. Some people don't get it too~ I feel like the swelling is going down.
Day 4) I hadn't had a bowel movement for 5 days since the day of surgery, so I searched and saw that constipation can happen after general anesthesia. Since I'm going back to work tomorrow, I drank prune juice in one shot on an empty stomach, and a little while later I kept going in and out of the bathroom.. It worked The blood bruising got worse, and yellow bruising appeared too.
Days 5~6) I went through work without discomfort. Some bruises changed to purple bruises, and more blood bruises + yellow bruises appeared. Now I'm used to the rock-hard feeling, so it feels like part of my body, but it is still uncomfortable. A lot of swelling went down.
Today is day 6. Including surgery day, it's been a week. I'll keep posting again next time~~
