Nose Surgery Reviews

Revision Rhinoplasty with Autologous Costal Cartilage, No Implant, After Removing Silicone! lol

After my first surgery, I was constantly stressed about the shape of my nose. I was bothered that the tip looked upturned, and more than anything, I hated that the silicone showed through. It really looked like an artificial nose. I was afraid that something might go wrong if I had it done one more time, so I could not even consider revision surgery. But I thought it was better to try again than to keep worrying like this, so I searched thoroughly, compared several places instead of deciding immediately, and ended up having surgery at [Clinic A]. Every day, I feel that choosing it was not a mistake. They completely removed the existing silicone and redid the surgery using autologous costal cartilage without an implant. I also had nose-lengthening, lowering of the columella, alar reduction, and lowering of the starting point of the nasal bridge. The artificial appearance and visible silicone disappeared completely, which is probably what I like most. The line from the bridge to the tip and columella looks much more natural from the side, and perhaps because the columella was shaped so precisely with autologous costal cartilage, I really love the tip! lol P.S. Because the surgeon carefully performs only two surgeries a day and focuses fully on each one, I suffered much less emotionally before and after surgery. If you are spending every day upset because of trauma from a failed nose surgery or its complications, it might be worth getting some help like I did.
