The director was not the friendly type, and I found the consultation unpleasant. I asked, "Will the surgery be effective?" The director sighed without saying anything and then spoke as if asking whether it mattered that I had come in intending to have surgery. Couldn't they simply say whether it would work or not? Why be so condescending? The director asked whether I wanted to reduce it by one-third or by two-thirds. But how would I know that as a surgical patient? It was my first clinic, so I did not know when I went for the consultation. When I said, "One-third?" the director criticized me, saying there would be no effect if it were reduced that much. Wouldn't it have been better to explain that from the beginning? I went there with high expectations, but I left the consultation upset.
