I had SMILE LASIK at Seoul Dabom Eye Clinic in Cheongju five years ago. It seems to have closed now. My prescription was about -4 with glasses, and I currently maintain 1.2–1.5 vision. As for side effects, my eyes sting badly and focusing feels difficult after watching a computer or dramas for a long time. At night, especially when it rains, glare makes driving difficult. The procedure took about five minutes and ended quickly, but it hurt so~~~~ much (I am very sensitive to pain). Immediately afterward my eyes were extremely red, stinging, watery, and painful—so painful that my mom wondered whether I had really had SMILE LASIK... My younger sibling also had it there, but felt no pain at all and returned to daily life immediately. I guess it varies from person to person. It has been a little over five years, my vision has not deteriorated, and I am satisfied.
