I had surgery because I wasn’t satisfied with the design. I’m someone who thinks that just raising the nasal bridge doesn’t automatically make the nose pretty, and that the director’s design sense is really important. I didn’t know the columella and nasolabial angle height could play such a big role in the nasal bridge and overall nose shape, but after my 3rd surgery, I finally realized that you really need to meet a director with good aesthetic sense. Since it was my 3rd surgery, I had no choice but to use autologous costal cartilage, and it definitely seems to have a different supporting strength. (I’ve also experienced nasal tip drooping.) I had all kinds of thoughts like, “What if this fails again...” but I’m so relieved this became my last surgery, and I seriously love the director hahaha
