First, the things I wanted to improve were my hump and raising the nasal tip, about that much, and I said I was scared of silicone and wanted to do it without an implant!!
JST Director Kook CT, photo shoot O Consultation fee 10,000 won
I went a little earlier than my appointment time, but there was almost no wait! I first talked with the consultant about what areas I wanted improved, then had the consultation with the director.
Looking at the photos and CT, he explained what method and materials he would use for the surgery. For the nasal tip, he mentioned septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and for the nasal bridge, he said if I didn’t particularly want it higher, it would probably be okay to do it without an implant. He also mentioned osteotomy. Since I do have some nasal bridge height, the director also said I probably didn’t really need it! And he said he would use donated dermis. Both the director and consultant were kind, but I went in not knowing much about rhinoplasty itself, so I couldn’t ask many questions ㅠ After it ended, I got the cost information again from the consultant. They said it would be done under sedation anesthesia.
B I don’t remember the director’s name,,ㅠ CT, photo shoot X Consultation fee X
First of all, since it’s a large hospital, it looked very busy and a bit hectic. There were also tons of foreigners.. Still, there was almost no waiting!!
I consulted with the consultant about the parts I wanted fixed, then had the consultation with the director.
First of all, everyone was kind, and the director mentioned the nasal tip and shaving down the hump, and here too, septal cartilage and ear cartilage. And he said my nasal bridge? is somewhat wide, so if I wanted it sharper, they would do an osteotomy, but if I wanted it natural, I didn’t really have to.
He said because the area where the bone and cartilage connect is uneven, they would put silicone or donated dermis there. I said here too that I wanted no implant, but since he mentioned silicone, I asked because I was scared of side effects and didn’t want it, and whether donated dermis was okay in terms of side effects.
He actually said the one with the lowest side effect risk is silicone! So I’m a bit torn,, After the director, I got the cost information during the consultation with the consultant. B said they have an anesthesiologist and would do general anesthesia. A/S is 1 year.
The cost was JST > B, and the difference was pretty big..!
Both hospitals told me my nose is good for surgery because there are many available materials, and they said my original nose is pretty too so I think I could see good results, which made me kind of happy ㅋㅋㅋ Is it okay to be happy about that? I’m a bit torn because of the priceㅜㅜ
