To get straight to the conclusion, I’m extremely satisfied. I injured my nose when I was young, and it became crooked. My nose was often blocked, and during seasonal changes I sneezed; when it got cold, I lived with nosebleeds and crusts, so I kept postponing the rhinitis surgery I knew I would need someday—and finally..! Colleagues and people around me said Co&Young was famous in Gwangju for rhinitis surgery plus rhinoplasty, so I immediately booked a consultation. Why is the consultation coordinator so kind..? She explained every detail I might be curious about in such a gentle way, so sweet... (Everyone here is kind.. even the people who gave injections and treated me were unfailingly kind..)
When you arrive, they first take photos, then the surgeon reviews them and explains in detail what kind of nose I had lived with all this time (I could barely use one side) and what type of surgery was needed. Since it would be nice to make it a little higher while I was at it haha, we decided to do septal deviation surgery and cosmetic rhinoplasty together!
After the consultation, surgery was scheduled for three days later. On the day of surgery, I couldn’t even drink water after 6 a.m., so I went hungry and arrived at the clinic by 10. They guided me through various preoperative checks and consent forms. After getting through everything and waking up from surgery, I was relieved that it hurt less than I had worried. But the cotton packing in my nose felt like it reached almost to my brain.. I couldn’t believe it could be removed on day three Sleeping sitting up was uncomfortable too.
At one week, they removed the external splint, but there was still considerable swelling. From then until one month, it was fun recording the swelling going down in real time with photos haha. Other than removing the stitches inside the nose, there weren’t any particularly painful procedures! Removing the crusts felt incredibly refreshing, so you can visit without worry haha.
Now I can breathe well! The shape has settled beautifully, so I’m extremely satisfied haha. They told me to avoid strenuous exercise for 2–3 months and apply the ointment diligently, so I’ll follow their instructions carefully ^____^ Co&Young is the best 🍀
