Only a 500,000-won difference between autologous rib cartilage and silicone for the bridge?

For reference, even with silicone, autologous rib cartilage is needed for the nasal tip support. This is my first surgery. I was told that when autologous rib cartilage is used for the bridge, solid blocks are no longer used because of warping; it is minced instead, which can reveal irregularities and make a sharp bridge line difficult. The consultant said silicone looks more defined while autologous rib cartilage looks more gradual. They said it isn’t simply a straight-versus-curved difference, but I can’t imagine it from the explanation. Autologous rib cartilage seems to have far more disadvantages than advantages compared with silicone, but because the price difference is only 500,000 won, I’m conflicted. What do you think is better, silicone or autologous rib cartilage? And why?
