I liked that during the consultation, he looked directly at my face and consulted with me without taking photos. He also kept touching my nose directly with his hands and checked my tissue quality and skin thickness. He said that because my skin is thin, if it is raised a lot, it may show through. So since it cannot be raised much, he suggested using silicone. When I asked whether donated rib cartilage could be used, he said that here they use the donated rib cartilage product as-is (without processing it by grinding it and shaping it, etc.), so it can only be used for the nasal tip. At the previous hospital consultation, they said I needed an osteotomy, but he did not mention it, so I thought the diagnosis might be too conservative(?) and asked whether osteotomy was necessary. He said that when looking at the face as a whole, it seemed better not to do it, and I got the impression that he was looking at overall harmony.
