My friend and I looked into eye revision surgery together and visited about 6 hospitals for in-person consultations. In the end, I had the epicanthoplasty and double-eyelid revision done with buried sutures at [Clinic A]. The double eyelids I had done before had started to loosen a little and sag, and the lines on both sides were different, so I started looking into revision surgery. Among the places I consulted, [Clinic A] felt the most trustworthy, so I decided to go with them. The manager was also really kind and took care of everything from consultation to before and after surgery. Personally, I think keeping appointments and being on time is very important, and they kept the reserved time well, so I liked that too. The doctor also looked at everything very carefully. From the consultation onward, they didn't just set the line once or twice, but kept comparing different shapes by trying out many variations to see which line suited my eyes best. And they weren't the type to just do whatever I asked for. At the first consultation, I said I wanted to change it to a higher out-line than before, but the doctor said that changing it that way on my current eyes would not look aesthetically better, so they refused to do the surgery. I felt very trusting then because it seemed like they would not do surgery that was unnecessary or unlikely to produce a better result. Later, after another consultation, we decided to keep the existing double-eyelid height and naturally correct only the sagging part toward the back and the line shape, and we also did the epicanthoplasty. Even before going into surgery, they didn't just quickly set the line once and stop; they kept adjusting it and checking until it felt like the look I wanted. From the consultation until right before surgery, they looked at the design in great detail, and the actual result came out even more natural and pretty than the line we had set then, so I'm satisfied. After surgery, there was almost no swelling or bruising compared with what I expected. In particular, the epicanthoplasty scar is so faint that even if I bring a mirror close to my face and look carefully, I can't see it, and I'm really happy with that too. The aftercare was also good. When I went in for a progress check in the middle, the doctor came in personally and checked the line and recovery in detail, and when we later checked the progress, they said if there was anything I didn't like, they would do an after-service correction, so it didn't feel like the process ended just because the surgery was over. I had been worried because I heard some places are kind during consultation but change after surgery, but here they stayed just as kind and careful from consultation to surgery day and the follow-up checks after surgery. My residual swelling has not fully gone yet, but as it keeps going down, the line is settling in more and more naturally and prettily, so I'm even more excited for what's ahead.
