Review of epicanthoplasty revision

I had the double-fold epicanthoplasty revision plus internal correction surgery at The Swan. Before the surgery, what I wanted was naturalness, and I said I wanted only the scar improved without changing the length of the inner corner of my eyes. Right before surgery, they marked the incision on the inner corner of my eyes, so I told them again that I absolutely did not want it opened any more. They said not to worry because they would make it pretty without exposing the lacrimal caruncle, and the surgery went ahead, but as soon as I came out of surgery, the epicanthoplasty was more open. I thought it was probably because of the swelling, so I waited until even the suture removal visit. When I went for the one-month follow-up, I said this seemed like it had become more open rather than being just swelling, and they told me they would do a revision after 6 months for only the minimum surgical fee. I was so unhappy with my eyes that I even developed social anxiety and spent the full 6 months staying home without making any appointments. But when I came back at the 6-month mark, the hospital suddenly said there was nothing they could do and just told me to keep watching it until one year, and that was the end of it. Even so, I thought each hospital can have a different aesthetic ideal, and since all the staff there had cat-eye-looking eyes and the director also had that kind of eye shape, maybe it was just a different aesthetic preference, so I gave up and went to another hospital for a consultation about revision. There they said I didn’t have enough extra skin at the inner corner of my eye, so they did not recommend another surgery, and if I wanted one I would have to do only one side (accepting asymmetry) or come back after lowering my nasal bridge. So I ended up spending money on epicanthoplasty revision, and my eyes became overly sharp. I also hear a lot that I look older than before the surgery. If cat-eye-shaped eyes are your preferred look, but you actually want the inner corners opened more, I recommend The Swan Plastic Surgery.
