Before surgery, my eyes had been damaged even more from excessive epicanthoplasty and a failed epicanthoplasty restoration, so they looked like anyone could tell my double eyelid surgery was overdoneㅠㅠ
Even though I had epicanthoplasty restoration and revision double eyelid surgery to change my outline-type eyes into an in-outline shape, because of the excessive epicanthoplasty, they still did not change from an outline shape. In the end, I focused on epicanthoplasty restoration and searched hard for a hospital specializing in it.
Then I saw reviews for Director Seo Dong-wan at Ieul Plastic Surgery Clinic and liked them, so I went for a consultation. As expected, I liked the director’s reviews, surgical method, and the fact that I would not need taping, so I decided to go with him.
Among the consultations at several hospitals, he was the only one who said he could close the inner corners more than what I wanted, and when he said that even if I had secondary canthoplasty later, he would safely close them a lot, I completely trusted him.
Now I am satisfied because I think it turned out naturally enough that I am debating whether or not to have secondary canthoplasty. Since he said my case was an extreme eye case and that a lot had to be closed, and I had heard I might look like a blunt, overly closed inner-corner look, I had prepared myself firmly before deciding on surgery, so I was okay even when there was swelling early on. And I think receiving swelling laser treatment and hyperbaric oxygen as aftercare services also helped me look natural a bit faster.
From week 3, I could see the major swelling going down, and from month 1 to month 2, it looked like quite a lot had gone down, but even now the swelling is still continuing to go down. So every day feels fascinating. Other than that, I did not do any separate swelling care.
These days I am living while looking forward even more(?) as I watch my eyes change every day haha For those who are truly desperate for epicanthoplasty restoration, and those whose restoration failed and the area opened up again, I think you can trust Director Seo Dong-wan and go for it without hesitation!!! haha
