As you can see from the photos before revision rhinoplasty, the nasal line and bridge were uneven, right? The starting point of the tip was sunken, and the tip looked unnatural from the side. The cartilage showed through badly too I wanted to erase this artificial, witch-nose look. I was concerned that from some angles it looked too sharp and high for my face, and that the cartilage show-through made the nasal tip look bumpy. Since the tip looked unnatural from the side and the cartilage showed through, I decided on revision surgery because I wanted a natural improvement that would make my nose look like my original nose again. I chose [Clinic A] after seeing many results with the most natural, original-nose feeling. Natural-looking shape was my first priority, and the surgeon also seemed to pursue natural results. From the first consultation, he listened carefully to my concerns and explained my current nasal condition in detail, making it easy to understand. Instead of suggesting an excessive, glamorous design, he proposed a natural direction suited to my face, so I immediately trusted him. I was very anxious because it was revision surgery, but he explained the improvement plan clearly, so I decided on [Clinic A] without much hesitation. On the day of surgery, we had discussed using donor rib cartilage if necessary, but the surgeon operated using my septum and previously used ear cartilage as much as possible so that recovery would be faster. Perhaps because of that, despite it being open surgery, there was much less pain and discomfort than after my first surgery. I had no pain immediately afterward, but I was dizzy and out of it because of the anesthesia. I felt better after lying in the recovery room and drinking some water (my phone was in the locker then, so I could not take photos). The pain gradually increased after about two hours, but medication helped. As long as I took my medicine regularly, it was not very painful. Everyone said the side where the temporalis fascia was harvested would hurt, so I was worried, but I had almost no pain in the temple area. It did not hurt, and I could open my mouth well, so I ate regular food right away instead of porridge. I am taking my meals and medicine regularly and drinking pumpkin juice, which is said to help swelling. Postoperative pain: Day 1—almost no pain from immediately after surgery until that evening; afterward, mild pain that improved with medication. (There was no pain at all in the temporalis fascia area.) Day 7—yellow bruising remained, and after removing the splint, there was considerable swelling between the eyebrows and on the bridge, with soreness when touched. Cold compresses reduced the pain and swelling toward evening. Day 20—there was almost no pain by around the third week, and I only needed to be a little careful when washing my face. I was worried because I recover slowly by nature, but it was reassuring to feel improvement every week despite having open surgery!
