After <currently 2 weeks> After <this too> After <and this too!> Before <this is before surgery! My eyebrows were asymmetric too, but the eyelid lines were very uneven ㅠ> After <before stitch removal... haha;;> It was revision eye surgery! I had revision eye surgery with an incisional method to make the uneven lines as symmetrical as possible~ In addition, I had full lateral lower canthoplasty toward the back~ and in the front, I only had an upper epicanthoplasty~
Since it was revision surgery, I was really careful about choosing the doctor and clinic. If I had just gone ahead without knowing anything the first time... Because this was revision surgery... I became much more meticulous.
I started looking at the clinic facilities too... cleanliness and so on.. And the back-and-forth with the consultation manager, etc. haha
I visited a few clinics for revision eye surgery, but there were some places that responded only like, “Eye surgery is pretty simple~ you’ll recover quickly~”
There were even places saying, “For eye surgery, we don’t do blood tests~”... These days, there are so many incidents and accidents happening ㅠ So even for eye surgery, I naturally leaned toward places that definitely do things like tests~
When I went home after surgery, I didn’t really notice, but after I woke up from sleeping.. my eyes were extremely swollen ㅠㅠ The doctor who operated on me had already said that because it was incisional and a revision surgery, there would be quite a bit of swelling.. As expected, the swelling came up quickly...
Fortunately, the clinic has been diligently doing swelling injections and swelling laser treatments for me, and now it has been a little over 2 weeks, so the swelling has settled down to about this level haha
During my first surgery, even when I was swollen, there was a very uneven-looking feeling, but thankfully with this revision surgery, right now the eyes don’t look hugely different from each other or anything, so I feel a little relieved ㅠ
I’ll have to keep watching longer, but I hope the swelling goes down soon.. quickly, quickly... I should ask them to do more aftercare for me ㅋㅌㅋㅌ
