It’s already been two months since my three-part facial contouring surgery!! At first, I wondered if I had made a mistake because of the swelling lol, but it gradually went down over time, and now I can definitely see my facial contours. My face had always looking generally wide, which stressed me out, but my biggest concern was that my jaw looked long T_T That’s why I really hated taking profile photos more than front-facing ones, but now my facial shape definitely feels more refined than before, so I worry less when taking photos. Up to the one-month mark, I looked in the mirror every day and wondered, “Has it gone down today?” because of the swelling, but after two months I started noticing the contours changing little by little. Now, at three months, I think the major swelling has almost gone down! It hasn’t completely settled yet, so the residual swelling will probably decrease further, and I’m waiting to see how it changes from here haha. Still, so far I’m fairly satisfied that my overall facial lines have been naturally refined. Most of all, before surgery I was used to covering my face with my hair, but these days I don’t feel as self-conscious even when I simply tie it up or tuck it behind my ears, and that’s what I like best T_T
