Many other reviews say that the doctor was kind during consultations, but personally I did not feel that the consultation was particularly warm. I was especially curious whether ptosis correction was really necessary, so I asked, “Does my eye need ptosis correction?” Instead, the doctor answered by asking me the same question back, which left me a little confused. I went because I found it difficult to judge what surgery I needed and wanted to hear a professional doctor's opinion, but rather than receiving a clear explanation or basis for the answer, I felt as though I was expected to decide. Of course, I think respecting the patient's opinion is important, but I wish they had explained from a professional perspective whether ptosis correction was necessary for my current eyes and, if so, why. Overall, what disappointed me most was that I did not receive a definite answer to the things I was curious about during the consultation. Personally, I wish the consultation had provided more sufficient explanation before I decided on surgery.
