It felt worthwhile to travel all the way to Seoul for the consultation. Since I live outside the capital, my biggest concern was traveling back and forth after surgery, so practical details such as whether I would need a drainage bag and how often I would need outpatient treatment were most important. I liked that the doctor and coordinator explained everything without showing any annoyance, even when I asked a barrage of questions. Many plastic surgery clinics pressure you to book on the day, but here there was no atmosphere of pushing same-day reservations or holding you with talk of same-day benefits...
