Take a look at the changes in my lower-abdomen and waistline contours!! The abdomen is an area where fat really does not come off easily, so even with exercise and diet, the lower-abdomen and flank fat stayed the same. I was especially stressed that my waist looked bulky when I wore clothes.
After much deliberation, I had abdominal liposuction, and I was surprised when I compared the before-and-after photos. The part I am most satisfied with is the lower abdomen and waistline. Before, the fat seemed spread out overall, but now the flank fat has been reduced, making my waist look much cleaner, and my lower abdomen is smoother than before.
As I recovered, the swelling went down, and over time the contours settled into a more natural shape. Looking at the before-and-after photos side by side, the overall silhouette itself looks different, which is fascinating.
If you, like me, are deliberating because fat around your lower abdomen or flanks is particularly difficult to lose, this may be worth considering. I am more satisfied with refining the contours of the areas I wanted than with changes in my weight.
