Before/after/after Now that it’s almost been a year, I wonder when I even had the surgery, and when I met my friends the other day, they asked if I really had surgery. They looked all around my face saying they wanted to see the surgical scars. But since the surgical scars weren’t visible, everyone wondered, “Did you really have surgery?” The surgical scars started fading after 6 months, and now I can’t see them anymore. I was worried too, so I bought things like scar ointment, swelling-reducing cream, and juices, but I barely ate or used them and just left them there. Time really was the medicine. Right after surgery there were difficult parts, so I thought I never wanted to do it again, but now that I’ve done it, I think I’m glad I did!
