Before<Before surgery.>After<After surgery.>In my everyday work life, I often heard from people around me that I looked older and tired.
Since I was young, the fat under my eyes had descended, so I thought it would be a lifelong concern. Then my daughter told me there was something called under-eye fat repositioning? surgery and lower blepharoplasty, so that’s how I learned about it.
I had made up my mind to have the surgery in winter, but I heard that these days it isn’t too inconvenient even after surgery, so I just listened to my daughter and went for a consultation first.
The various surgery photos they showed me made me trust them, and the hospital was large and nice, so I just ended up leaning toward doing it right away.
The surgery itself wasn’t very painful, and I was worried because my work involves interacting with people, but although I was swollen for about 3 days, after that there was no problem with daily life.
Until about a week, I diligently used warm/cold compresses to reduce swelling, but after that I got lazy and honestly didn’t do it diligently haha
Still, now that two months have passed, there are no problems and I’m very satisfied. I only occasionally regret why I didn’t do it sooner.
My face shape is on the longer side, so I was very bothered by the tear troughs in my midface. It felt like people only looked there, and even with makeup they stood out, but now that they’ve disappeared cleanly, people say I look 10 years younger.
When one month had passed, there was still a very slight foreign-body sensation, but it was only enough for me to notice, and when I looked in the mirror, it didn’t show at all.
Now there’s no foreign-body sensation, and it just feels like my own skin.
Middle-aged people like me may feel resistance toward surgery, but I really feel the world has improved haha
Since the only regret left is that I didn’t do it sooner, anyone who is worried can put those worries aside and just think about living the rest of life with a prettier face.
Before and after the surgery, maybe because it was a large hospital, the consultation manager was also really kind and explained everything in detail.
I’m in the Gyeonggi area, so I wondered whether I really needed to go to a hospital in Seoul and thought the visits would be bothersome, but going about 2 or 3 times was manageable.
My daughter worked hard and visited several places, but we decided on Objet Plastic Surgery because it was the biggest and the consultation was good, and I’m very satisfied.
My daughter wants to do it too haha I’m thinking of getting it done for her later~
