Finally, the truly long, long one-week mark!!! It’s really only been a week so far, but I’m eating really well.. almost to the point that it feels strange.. Of course I can’t eat anything tough or irritating, but I guess people really do live to eat.. From day 1 to day 3, I’m the type who swells especially badly, so the swelling was really severe. I couldn’t even talk, lived on soy milk, and consistently walked about 2 hours a day. Now I still walk, and the swelling has gone down a bit, so I can eat and talk!! And on day 5, I removed the bandages that had been on and washed my hair right away, and it was seriously heaven For brushing my teeth, I bought a baby toothbrush and brushed gently. I had bought pumpkin juice before surgery and have been drinking 3 packs every single day. Sometimes when sleeping, I’m not really the type to sleep with my head elevated, so it felt uncomfortable and I almost moved, but maybe my body has adapted because whenever I’m about to move, I open my eyes, fix my posture, and go back to sleep One week has passed safely, so now I’ll watch the swelling keep going down at 2 weeks, then one month, and wait for the day I can properly eat delicious food. I’ll come write again when it’s been 2 weeks >.<!
