This post may contain subjective thoughts, so I hope you understand that its purpose is to share information and express my personal thoughts. (I went to the hospital, consulted about my current condition, and told them I would post this. The hospital said not to reveal only that it was their hospital, and that if a situation arises later where customers do not come to the hospital because of this post, they would take legal action. So I will not mention the hospital in this post.)
In December 2020, I had surgery on my abdomen, gynecomastia, and pubic area.
I had maintained my weight in the mid-to-high 60 kg range, then pushed myself to lose weight down to 55 kg. I think I had a yo-yo effect, and along with hypothyroidism, my weight increased rapidly and went up to 98 kg.
Shocked by my changed body, I quickly looked for a hospital, and I looked for a director who was confident in his skills and had abundant knowledge and experience.
I consulted and proceeded with abdomen 450, gynecomastia (including armpits) 200, and pubic area 50! (There was no ultrasound or other examination equipment; they assessed me with a pinch test and visually.)
On the day of surgery, he said the previous surgery had been difficult, and that if gynecomastia seemed difficult after doing the abdomen, we should schedule another time. Fortunately, all the surgeries were completed that day.
After that, 8 months passed, and I received a retouch for asymmetry in the chest fat and asymmetry around the navel. There was no retouch for the chest flesh sagging to the side..
In the conversation before receiving the retouch, he said that since they were opening the operating room anyway, how about doing facial liposuction? I told him I had already done it elsewhere. Then he said I did not need to do it. (During this process, I felt like something else was being sold, but during this consultation, he explained that it was a misunderstanding and that they recommend it to people in the 90 kg range, which is why he said that.)
Now that the whole process is over, I’ll tell you the current situation.
The first consultation was that due to skin expansion, sagging could occur after surgery, and that it could be managed through possible retouching (lifting). But even though I paid an additional amount to include the armpit area and had surgery, during this consultation he said that because of the characteristics of my flesh, it had sagged, and even if a retouch were done, it would have no effect. There was no retouch.
He said this much improvement was thanks to surgery, and that if I had lost the weight through dieting, it would have sagged even more. But to me, it did not seem like the result I would expect after paying that amount.
The sagging of the chest, the sagging toward the side of the armpit, the angular-looking skin around the navel, and the appearance of the pubic area were all results caused by my skin expansion. The director said that even if I went to another hospital, they would call it a good result. And he said he wondered whether it would come out even this well if done at another hospital. (So I’m attaching photos, and I know this post is subjective and that there may be people here who think the result is good.)
During this consultation, he said there was definitely a difference in volume in the skin on the side love-handle area, and that he would do a retouch for that.
As the director said he does not do marketing, the website is made simply. He said the photos posted there are also unedited results. He said those photos are results that are a little better. If that is the case, since he says there are many cases like mine where the sagging beside the armpit is not corrected, I wanted to ask whether he does not post those photos and only posts corrected photos..
He says gynecomastia results usually come out like this, so I want to ask why photos like that are few or absent. If he had not said it could be corrected with retouching, would I have gone through with the surgery?
In the end, I think that may also be the director’s marketing method.
Some other hospitals buy comments and delete negative posts, and 90% of posts in this community are marketing posts. Statements like marketing inquiries related to this community had come in are ultimately the director saying he chose not to do that, but I hope he recognizes that he too is doing another form of marketing.
If there are people here considering liposuction, I hope you know that results can vary depending on the degree of skin expansion, and that even at a hospital that says it can correct that, what they say may change after surgery.
I paid an additional fee for the armpit area, and during consultation he said he could lift it with a retouch, but in the end I think that too was a sales strategy, so I’m posting this.
It may be a result someone can be satisfied with, and it may be a result someone else can be dissatisfied with. That’s what plastic surgery is, haha.
But I can’t hide the feeling that I was deceivedㅠ I thought about whether I should bring up a refund, but he also mentioned an attorney in charge, so I couldn’t say it.

(After reading this post, he said that if customers appear who say they will not go to the hospital, he could proceed with a lawsuit. So I said that would be the choice of people who are not satisfied with my surgical result. But the director said he could sue because there may be damages to him.
When I asked for my pre-op photos, he said they were old photos so they were hard to find, and why would he give them to someone who would write this kind of post.)
