I received a lot of comfort from everyone here before, so I came to leave a review. Before surgery, my nose was originally low, so even though I was in a contracted state, I really debated a lot about whether to remove everything or not. But as time went on, it felt like my nose was lifting more and more, so I ended up having surgery. I was so scared right up until I went in, but I don’t think it hurt as much as I expected.
Week 2 - Today, I had all the stitches in my nose removed. During the removal surgery, the capsule was extremely thick, so the bridge line of my nose became quite bumpyㅠ I’ll also upload a photo of the capsule below. The doctor also said it was much thicker than a typical capsuleㅠ
Overall condition: the swelling has all gone down, but my nose is still bruised, so it hurts no matter where I touch it. I can wear makeup except on my nose. I still have to take medication for contracture for one more month. When I wake up in the morning, there’s a slight feeling of being pulled upward.
In conclusion, I was so stressed about my nostrils showing, so now I’m satisfied. Of course, it feels like the bridge of my nose has become much lower, but I think I can now live without worrying about it. But I was also worried I might forget how I feel now, so I organized my surgery review on YouTube for myself. I’ll share it here as well for anyone curious about photos from before and after surgery, from the day of surgery through week 2. I hope it helps. https://youtu.be/TCfgTFl3nVg?si=e8_9LIdc7HvxIiXz
