A man getting ear-lobe filler may sound surprising, but it started with physiognomy. My earlobes had always been thin and small, and after a friend told me that plump earlobes attract financial luck, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Even if it’s superstition, it’s a face I look at every day, so I decided to research ways to make it look better. After comparing several places, I chose [Clinic A], a plastic surgery clinic with extensive filler experience. During the consultation, the doctor explained that because it was the earlobes rather than a large area, we could start with about 2 cc, assess the shape, and decide how much volume to add; too much could look unnatural. I proceeded right after the consultation. I received 2 cc total of Restylane on both sides. After applying numbing cream, I waited about 30 minutes, and the actual injection took around 10 minutes. There was no pain at all. When I looked in the mirror immediately afterward, my earlobes were clearly rounder and plumper, and I was satisfied. I was told that from the front, the more prominent earlobes made my face look smaller and my impression look gentler. I don’t know whether physiognomy really changes one’s luck, but resolving the part that bothered me definitely feels good. If there are other men concerned about their earlobes like me, I think it would be fine to have a consultation.
