Consultation fee with Dr. G: 10,000 KRW Wait time: I went with a reservation. Almost an hour?
The wait time was long, but the doctor was kind, and they did not charge separately for the CT scan. They said I needed all 3 rhinitis-related procedures (rhinitis, deviated septum, nasal valve), and they also gave me an additional cosmetic nose consultation. They did show me well how they would correct it while editing the photo in Photoshop.
Looking at other reviews, it seemed like if you have rhinitis, they basically recommend all 3 of those procedures, and they seem to use the same materials too. So the method felt a bit one-size-fits-all. = 3 rhinitis surgeries + autologous costal cartilage (+ autologous dermis)
The design may vary a little from person to person, but it seemed like they wanted to proceed only with that set. And the price is quite... quite high. When I look at blog reviews, functional nose surgery prices did not come out that high... functional rhinoplasty alone is 4.8 million KRW, and the cosmetic part comes out about the same. I am a bit doubtful whether I can really get as much as 4.8 million KRW reimbursed through indemnity insurance for rhinitis surgery. Even if insurance pays out, it also feels a bit off that the out-of-pocket amount would be that much. They said they would carefully prepare the documents for the claim, but anyway, since they said, “If it does not come out, there is nothing we can do,” I feel very anxious.
I was trying to choose one place after doing online research, but the price is holding me back... Can anyone who has gone around for functional + cosmetic consultations elsewhere share some price information?
