Eye Surgery Considerations

[Clinic A] review

After my first surgery failed, I lived for years with puffy sausage-like eyelids and deep scars. I looked sleepy, and closing my eyes was stressful every time, so this time I visited revision clinics that limit surgeries to one case per day and focus closely on each patient so I would not fail again.

The doctor suggested removing the existing scar tissue and lowering the crease with a two-line incision technique. The consultation was thorough without excessive treatment recommendations, so I trusted them and proceeded.

I am now six months post-op, and the puffy sausage-like tissue has completely gone down, making the crease extremely natural. The depressed scars visible when my eyes were closed have also flattened, and my sleepy-looking impression has become clearer. I can finally enjoy looking in the mirror T_T.

For sausage eyelids, I think the answer is finding a doctor who is good at releasing adhesions and scar tissue.
