It has been one week since my surgery. I took a half day off and have to go to the hospital for a follow-up, sigh T_T. I was lucky with the painless injection, so I have been going to work since day five and managing daily life without difficulty!
Before surgery: 69A, dual-plane / inframammary incision / Mentor / 295 cc.
After one week, the main thing I have noticed is that the chest muscles are used so, so much!! It sounds like nothing, but pressing the pump on my facial cleanser is the hardest thing for me lol. It is normally a rather heavy pump, so I press it politely with both hands every morning and evening ^^.
Some people may be curious about precautions after surgery. Unless you exercise regularly, you may find it harder than expected to get up by yourself after lying down. You cannot push off with your arms, so you have to get up using only your abdominal and core strength. If you are someone who did not exercise, buying a triangular cushion might help you get up. It would not be necessary if you have a caregiver, though~
Anyway, when I wake up, my breasts feel heavy, so every morning I go, “Oh, wow!” lol. They still have a rocket-launch bread shape, but I think they will look pretty once the skin relaxes and the shape settles. The hospital said they would descend as the skin relaxes starting around week seven, so I am staying in crazy mode until week seven. I will also upload preoperative photos. Sorry about the worn-out, stretched bra T_T Before surgery, I just wore bras as nipple covers, so I bought something roughly one size larger online and wore it loosely. I tried it on again last night out of curiosity, and it is very different ^^. Once the inframammary incision bandage comes off, I will upload a bare-chest review too!
