The last clinic in my consultation review that I’m posting after a long time is ㅂㄴㅂㄱ Plastic Surgery, Director ㅇㅊㅎ!!
The consultation with the consultant took about 40 minutes (15 minutes with the director), and there was a bit of waiting time! What I liked most was that the atmosphere was very warm and friendly!! All the staff members were kind too! The director was also very kind, calm, and explained everything in detail in a soft-spoken way.
As for the consultation, he said that if I’m considering cost-effectiveness, square jaw surgery alone would be enough, but that cheekbone reduction + square jaw surgery together would be the best option. Since my face is asymmetrical from left to right, he said the surgery would be done to balance each side and make it symmetrical (NOT operating on both sides exactly the same way). The facial contouring surgery includes cortical osteotomy, masseter muscle adjustment, deep cheek fat and fat removal, and he said they would also check my skin elasticity, masticatory muscles, and bite condition later on. For the incision, he said he would avoid an anterior incision if possible, but would perform it if necessary. Since I have a slightly recessed chin, we decided to shave only enough to prevent a secondary angle and not touch the chin tip. For the cheekbones, they would be fixed with 2 pins (front and side / sideburn incision needed). Overall, during the consultation, he showed me many before-and-after photos of patients who had facial contouring surgery at the clinic and explained what their conditions were and how they changed.
Postoperative care: Week 1: removal of sideburn stitches Week 2: removal of intraoral stitches From Week 3: 3 postoperative care sessions (radiofrequency, etc. / no separate care before that)
The regular price was over 12 million KRW, but they said there would be a 20% discount if I participated in a review promotion!! (It was the most expensive among the clinics I visited...ㅠㅠㅠ) The amount includes hospitalization fees, internal medicine examination fees, and all 3 postoperative care sessions. (They also said they would prescribe a pain-control injection if needed at no extra charge.)
As a side note, the consultant said that among her patients, there was also an operating room nurse from another plastic surgery clinic and the child of a dentist ㅎㅎㅋㅎ They said the director has only done facial contouring for 23 years, and that among professionals, his skills in facial contouring are widely recognized.
Honestly, facial contouring is so, so scary to me, and since it’s such a major surgery, I really liked the kind atmosphere of this clinic, where they seemed to care for the patient’s emotional state as well. After finishing all my final consultations, this clinic was the one I felt most drawn to. Both the director and the consultant spoke so warmly, and I really liked the atmosphere of the clinic, which seemed to help me relaxㅠ
