Day 20 after Motiva

I’m back on day 20 after Motiva. I’m really happy because things have gotten so much better.

Days 1-7: Getting up and lying down were seriously the hardest. Hell... I had a lot of reality-check moments, and the swelling was no joke, so I felt depressed...

Days 7-14: Compared with day 7, it really got so much better, and I even wondered, “Can recovery happen this fast?” lololol I still couldn’t lie completely flat. I could wear some boxy T-shirts instead of only clothes with zippers, and I felt sad because I couldn’t wear pretty clothes because of the upper band. I took the capsular contracture medication twice, but acne came up on my chest, so I stopped taking it. The director said I didn’t have to take it if acne came up, so I felt relieved.

Days 14-20: Currently, I only wear the upper band in the evening, and during the day I go around wearing a bralette or camisole with no wire and only cups inside!! I didn’t really wear any shapewear. Now lying down completely and getting up are comfortable, and about 80% of my sensation has come back, so it’s comfortable. But my nipples sting, so only that is uncomfortable. I forget when showering and get startled lol lol Still, I’m living a different life. Even when I try on clothes for a moment, the fit is different...

Don’t hesitate, just do it. My breast pocket was 12; I didn’t check my rib cage measurement. I put in 400 on the left and 375 on the right. I’ll upload photos and go. I wonder why I only did it now. Since I had surgery in summer, the only uncomfortable thing was the upper band. Then I’ll be back at the one-month mark!
