Before/after 2022.12.03 (B Plastic Surgery) I had monolids and not much fat around my eyes. I often heard that my eyes were big, and people around me always stopped me, saying monolids were charming and my eyes weren’t small, so I lived like that. But because of the fat around my eyes, I looked older, and when I took photos, monolids really didn’t look pretty.. My friends who had double eyelid surgery all looked so pretty when only their eyes were photographed ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ The eye fat was my biggest stress, and after thinking about it, since it was my first surgery ever, there was also a deep whisper in my heart that I wanted double eyelids too.. hehe I went for a consultation and booked after one thing the consultant said lol “You’ve lived with monolids for 30 years!”
So after my first in-out incisional double eyelid surgery + fat grafting to the upper eyelids, at first I liked it so much. Why did I only do it now? Who said monolids were charming ㅡㅡ It was so natural that even acquaintances I’d known for over 10 years didn’t know I had done it ㅠ They asked if I originally had no double eyelids, so I thought it had turned out well, but I wondered if the swelling on my upper eyelids was just going down slowly. But only one side kept staying swollen. When I opened my eyes upward, the asymmetry was really severe too.
I visited at 2 months, and when I explained all of this, the doctor’s face completely changed and they got angry lol They said the surgery went well. They said swelling goes down at different speeds for each person, and who would ever open their eyes upward like that? (Whether I do or not, when I did, one side only opened halfway.) They said the swelling just hadn’t gone down and the surgery went well. Their face suddenly changed and they got angry, so I thought they were a psychopath ㅠ I’m originally not good at arguing, so I felt wronged and like I was about to cry, but I just left ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
As a result, from the 4th month, the areas where the eye fat didn’t go away formed multiple creases and double double eyelids ㅡㅡ Even after a year, the swelling on one side still didn’t go down lol Currently, I had a revision three months ago^^!! (The revision also failedㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ) I’ll post the revision review next time!!!
The photos are before surgery and after surgery with uneven eyes + double creases + eye swelling, but because they’re photos, the swelling doesn’t show well ㅠ
