Review of inner and non-incisional alar reduction at [Clinic A]

I had been picking my nose since childhood, so my nostrils became quite wide. Every time I looked at photos, I felt extremely stressed even though other people did not care. I searched through community and app reviews and booked a consultation. During my consultation, Dr. Lee Hee-young asked what I wanted. I said I wanted the result to look as natural as possible and absolutely did not want a pinched-nose appearance. The doctor explained that it could be done non-incisionally, but that an incision might be necessary to achieve the shape and satisfaction I wanted, while showing photos of alar reduction and designing the shape of my nose. I was worried that an incision would leave a large scar, but I felt an incision was clearly needed to achieve my desired shape. Since the aftercare was thorough and the clinic met my three priorities—one surgeon, a natural approach, and no excessive pressure—I fixed the surgery date right away during the consultation. Before surgery that day, because it would involve an incision, we redrew the line and designed the shape once more. I wanted minimal incisions, so the doctor planned the surgery using a minimally invasive incision technique that would not feel burdensome. After surgery, I checked once at the clinic and again after arriving home. Even with the swelling, I felt it had succeeded, but I could not know the final result yet, so I waited for my skin to heal well. After the stitches were removed two weeks later and the swelling subsided, I was deeply moved by how visibly smaller my nostrils had become. I had only thought about reducing the size of my nostrils, but the design was also made beautifully, giving me a round and pretty nose.
