I had surgery during the morning slot on 8/19, and today is day 5! I had cheekbone reduction with Director Lee Seung-ryong and forehead reduction with Director Han Ji-hyun.
First of all, I had been very stressed about my wide forehead since I was young, and I had only been thinking that I should get forehead reduction surgery someday. Then a friend who had similar concerns got forehead reduction surgery first, and it looked so pretty even to me lololol, so I ended up doing it at the same hospital!
When I went for the consultation, I thought, since I'm here, let me just get consultations for various things! So I got consultations for my forehead, cheekbones, and nose. They pointed out exactly the complexes I had in mind, so I was surprised, and I think that made me trust them more.
I didn't think my cheekbones were particularly big, but when I took photos, the protruding parts bothered me, so I got a consultation. They said I was a case that would get good results from cheekbone surgery? lol I think it's because my temples are sunken and my lateral cheekbones and 45-degree cheekbones are developed.
Anyway, even I thought that if I worked on both my forehead and cheekbones, my face would look smaller, so I decided to go ahead with both surgeries! (During the reservation process, my schedule changed and caused inconvenience, but thank you for kindly changing it for meㅠ)
On the day of surgery, I had to consult with the directors before going into the operating room, but I could only have the consultation after the director's surgery was over, so it was a bit uncomfortable having to just waitㅠ The surgery started about 30 minutes later than the scheduled time ㅠㅠ
I'm really very scared of things like this, so when I went into the operating room and looked around, it was so scary All I could think was, would it be okay if I said now that I can't do the cheekbone surgery?... lol
The anesthesiology director came, and anesthesia was done sooner than I expected, so while I was still flustered, I fell asleep, and then the surgery was over.......... I wanted to say, please anesthetize me later because I'm scared, but I couldn't say it lol
I had to stay in the recovery room for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and I get cold really easily, so I was so, so coldㅠ Maybe I had gotten very cold during surgery. I was so cold that while using the oxygen mask, I said midway that I didn't want to do it anymore.. Anyway, after recovery ended, I looked in the mirror to go home, and I was so swollen that I really wondered if this was me, and I wanted to cry ㅠㅠ
From right after surgery for 24 hours, I had pain in my cheekbones It hurt and was uncomfortable, but I endured it while taking medicine Looking at other people's reviews, they said their head hurt a lot after forehead surgery, but I didn't have pain!
The thing I was most worried about was swelling.. It peaked by day 3, and after removing the bandage and tape, on days 4 and 5 it went down relatively more. I walked a lot and diligently drank tea that's said to be good for reducing swellingㅠ I have to keep reducing it Oh, I also got a fairly large bruise under my cheek
There are still stitches at the scar area from the forehead reduction surgery, but every time I went for disinfection, they told me I was taking good care of it, so I felt reassured haha
The cheekbone swelling is so severe that I still don't know whether the surgery went well or what, but when I saw the CT images, it had gone in a lot and was firmly fixed with 4-point fixation. The director also says it went well
For the forehead, I haven't seen the director yet, but it has reduced a lot compared to my old forehead, so I'm satisfied!!!!! Really... I'm so satisfied that I wonder why I didn't do it sooner Oh, today a slightly sunken mark appeared right below the area where I had the forehead reduction, but I'm not sure if it's because of swelling, so I'm going to ask when the director checks my progress. ㅠ The swelling from the forehead reduction isn't that severe, and my forehead has puffed up just enough to look pretty, so I hope this swelling doesn't go away.. haha
